Call of Paper

We are pleased to announce the call for papers for a special issue of our journal Data & Metadata, focused on the theme of "Bibliometric Studies in Health and Data-driven Health Decision Making." We are looking for original research that addresses topics related to this theme and that can contribute to the advancement of knowledge and improvement of practices in the field of health.

The topics of interest for this special  issue  include, but are not limited to:

  1. Bibliometric and scientometric analysis in the field of health.
  2. Data-driven health decision-making, including real-time health data analysis and the use of decision support systems.
  3. Applications of artificial intelligence and machine learning in health decision-making and bibliometric research.
  4. Data visualization and analytical tools in health research and decision-making.
  5. Innovations in the collection, storage, and analysis of large volumes of health data.
  6. Impact of public policies and data-driven decisions on equity and justice in health.
  7. Challenges and opportunities in ethics, privacy, and governance of health data.

Authors interested in participating in this special  issue  should follow the manuscript submission guidelines and editorial standards of our journal. All received manuscripts will undergo peer review to ensure the quality and relevance of the selected papers.

Articles submitted in Spanish and Portuguese will be translated into English at no cost to the authors by the Editorial team.

Articles submitted to this special issue are exempt from APC fees (No APC).

  • Average review report time: 30-45 days.
  • Special supplement publication date: Continuous publication.
